Double-left click on My Computer. You will see a window similar to this.

 




Double-left click on Dial-Up Networking


Double-left click on Make New Connection

Type PressEnter in the top field. Click Next.


    Type in your local number to connect to PressEnter. Click here to find out which number is local for you, or contact our office. Typing in an incorrect number may incur long distance charges from your phone company.


    Click Finish; your new Dial-up Networking profile is complete.


    You will now see the new PressEnter icon. CLICK ON IT WITH THE RIGHT MOUSE BUTTON; you will then get a grey box. Select properties with the left mouse button.


    Click on the "Server Types" tab or button at the top of of the window.You will now need to uncheck "Log onto Network", "NetBEUI", and "IPX/SPX Compatible". After you are finished click ok.


    The new connection will be in the Dial-Up Networking Folder. Double-left click on it.


    Verify that the user name is correct and all lowercase. Your user name is the same as your login name.

    Type in your case-sensitive password. You will see a string of asterisks as you type; this is normal and done for security reasons.

    Verify that the phone number is correct.

    Click Connect to logon to PressEnter.
